About Our Bread

Is all Naturis bread gluten-free?

Yes. All Naturis breads are made in our dedicated 100%
gluten-free bakery, providing greater peace of mind for people
with coeliac disease or gluten sensitivity.

Is your bread suitable for people with coeliac disease?

Our entire range is produced in a dedicated gluten-free facility
with no gluten-containing ingredients handled on the premises.
Anyone with severe allergies or additional dietary concerns
should check the ingredient list before purchasing.

Is Naturis bread sourdough?

Yes. Our breads are naturally fermented using a traditional
sourdough process. We don’t use commercial yeast, artificial
bread improvers or unnecessary additives.

Is your bread organic?

We use certified-organic ingredients wherever possible.
However, ingredient availability can sometimes mean that an
individual product cannot be labelled as fully certified
organic. Please check the product page or packaging for the
most current information.

Does your bread contain preservatives?

No. Naturis bread contains no artificial preservatives, which
is why correct storage is important.

Is Naturis bread vegan?

Our current breads are made without dairy or eggs and are
suitable for vegans. Please check the ingredient list on each
product page, particularly if you have an allergy or specific
dietary requirement.

Storage and Enjoyment

How should I store my Naturis bread?

Because our bread contains no artificial preservatives, we
recommend keeping it refrigerated or frozen rather than storing
it at room temperature.

Can I freeze the bread?

Yes. Naturis bread freezes very well and can be kept frozen for
up to approximately three months. For convenience, slice the
loaf before freezing and remove only what you need.

How long does the bread stay fresh?

Our bread has an approximate seven-day shelf life from the
baking date when stored correctly. Refrigerating or freezing it
as soon as possible will help maintain its freshness.

Is the bread better toasted?

Our bread can be enjoyed fresh, but many customers especially
enjoy it toasted. Toasting brings out the flavour and can
improve the texture, particularly after refrigeration or
freezing.

Why does gluten-free bread sometimes crumble?

Gluten provides elasticity and structure in conventional bread,
so naturally gluten-free loaves can be more delicate. For the
best result, keep the loaf chilled, cut it with a sharp serrated
knife and avoid cutting it while it is still warm.

Ordering and Delivery

  • Orders under 15 loaves automatically incur a shipping cost
of $15 (for metro areas only).
  • Interstate orders are dispatched on Tuesday.
  • Please place orders before 5 pm Friday for Monday dispatch
    (Metro Sydney stores).
Where does Naturis deliver?

We currently ship to New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria,
South Australia and Tasmania.

Delivery availability and charges depend on your location.
Please enter your address at checkout or contact us to confirm
delivery options for your postcode.

Which areas qualify for free delivery?

Online orders of 15 loaves or more receive free delivery to
eligible metro areas.

You can mix and match different Naturis bread varieties to
reach the 15-loaf free-delivery minimum. Eligibility is
determined by the delivery postcode.

Why is there a minimum order for free delivery?

Freight and refrigerated-food handling costs have increased
considerably. Our current free-delivery threshold allows us to
pack and send bread more efficiently while keeping the cost of
our loaves as reasonable as possible.

How much does delivery cost and how long will it take?

Orders under 15 loaves to eligible metro areas automatically
incur a delivery charge of $15. Different delivery charges
apply to regional and other non-metro locations.

The following delivery times and charges apply to orders that
do not qualify for free metro delivery:

Delivery area Estimated delivery time Delivery cost
Regional Victoria 2–4 business days $30
Regional Queensland 2–6 business days $30
Regional South Australia 3–5 business days $50
Western Australia 2–7 business days $50

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by the
destination, freight provider, weekends and public holidays.
Please contact us if you are unsure whether we can deliver to
your location.

What if my order arrives damaged or there is a problem with the bread?

Please contact us as soon as possible with your order number,
the product name, best-before or batch information, and
photographs showing the problem. This helps us investigate
quickly and provide an appropriate solution.
